Towering successMaidstone is a significant regional centre for financial services, with the highest level of office space dedicated to this sector in Kent, employing more than 21,000 staff. It's already an established base for the likes of Royal Bank of Scotland and Clydesdale Bank and is soon to become the location for Towergate's headquarters. |

Towergate is Europe's largest independent insurance intermediary and recognised as one of the leading 50 companies in Kent. In Maidstone since 2001, Towergate wanted to play a role in a knowledge-driven environment where there is opportunity for business-to-business interaction in the county's financial capital. Paul Dyer, co-founder of Towergate commented: "The new HQ will give us room to expand. Plus, Maidstone is a commercial catchment area for readily available, skilled employees. This will be vital when we recruit 250 new members of staff." Towergate employs more than 3,800 people across its 100 UK offices. Their new offices will be based at Eclipse Park (adjacent to junction 7 of the M20) - 30,000 sq feet of high-quality, modern office space ready for occupation in autumn 2008. Firmly committed to the area, Paul Dyer continued: "Eclipse Park is a natural choice for our new HQ thanks to its excellent location and communications links, plus it has a ready supply of highly skilled people."
